What we collect
- Tool inputs (numbers, dates, prices) are processed in your browser and are not sent to us, unless you include them in a form.
- Form submissions (name, email, message and the details you enter) are delivered to our inbox through FormSubmit.co, a form-forwarding service, so we can reply. We also receive the page URL, referrer and campaign (UTM) tags, which help us understand what's working.
- Payments and donations are processed by the provider you choose (e.g. PayPal, Ko-fi, Stripe). We never see or store card numbers.
Cookies & local storage
- Essential: your theme preference, cookie choice and session details (e.g. the last number you decoded) are kept in your browser's local/session storage.
- Advertising: when enabled, Google AdSense and its partners use cookies to serve and measure ads, which may be personalised based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. Choosing "Essential only" requests non-personalised ads. Read how Google uses data from partner sites.
- Video: YouTube embeds load from youtube-nocookie.com only after you click play.
How we use data
To answer inquiries, deliver audits and newsletters, run contests, process applications and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
Inquiries and applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you become a client. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California, PIPEDA and Québec Law 25 in Canada), you may access, correct, delete or port your data, and object to processing. Use the contact form and we'll respond within 30 days. California residents: we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising outside of AdSense cookies, which you can control as described above.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
