Lucky Date Finder
Screen upcoming dates for your big day using Chinese number meanings, lunar days, festivals and the traditional Ghost Month.
How we screen dates
- Date digits: month + day read as a number (e.g. 8/08 → 808). Dates with 8, 6 or 9 score higher, and a 4 lowers the score.
- Lunar day: lunar days 8, 18 and 28 get a boost.
- Ghost Month: the 7th lunar month (鬼月) is traditionally avoided for weddings and moving. Qixi (七夕, lunar 7/7) is the romantic exception.
- Special days: 5.20 and 5.21 for love, 8.8 for prosperity, and the Lunar New Year period for openings.
Traditional date selection (择日) by a master also uses both families' birth charts and the Tong Shu almanac (通胜). Use this tool to shortlist, then ask our experts to confirm.
